Chavez Plaza Cemetery - There are many unmarked and unidentified graves at this cemetery. South of Gardner Butte 2 miles East, 1 mile south on south side of Huerfano river. SW1/4 of SW1/4 of Sec 29 T26 R70.
This cemetery is first referred to in the church records as the San Jose Canon Cemetery, then the San Jose de Los Chavez Cemetery, then the Los Chavez cemetery. This cemetery was filmed in the summer of 2000.
