John M. Waldron, of Pueblo, was born in County Mayo, Ireland, January 25, 1848. His parents emigrated to America when the subject was only 3 years of age and settled in New York state. Mr. Waldron removed from New York to Colorado in 1868, and began the practice of law in Pueblo county 1872, removing to Walsenburg in 1876 and in November of that year was elected state attorney of the Third Judicial District, which office he held until January, 1880. In this position Mr. Waldron proved his ability as a lawyer and an advocate, which has since given him a very extensive practice. He stands high up among the ablest lawyers of Colorado.
