Isaac Nelson Berry was born 10 June 1834 at Cumberland county, Kentucky and died 7 July 1908 at Cripple Creek, Teller County, Colorado and is buried at Victor, Teller County, Colorado.

Isaac married on 7 December 1854 at Oquawka, Henderson County, Illinois to Mercy Treat Forsyth, daughter of Archibald Forsyth and Esther Press.

Mercy Treat Forsyth was born 5 May 1836 at Avon, Livingston County, New York. She died 13 November 1900 at Victor, Teller County Colorado, and is buried in Brookside Cemetery at Rye, Pueblo County, Colorado.

Isaac and Mercy had the following children.
1. William H. Berry born 1855 and died 15 November 1903. He married Alice L. Reynolds on 20 June 1883, Pueblo County.
2. Mary Berry born 12 May 1857 and died 3 October 1876, never married.
3. Elizabeth Ellen Berry born 18 March 1860 and died 28 December 1940. She married John Strather Payne on 13 November 1879.
4. Olive May Berry born 27 July 1872 and died 24 February 1918. She married Robert Lee Moore on 28 November 1889.
