Regarding your request for information on TRINIDAD MAESTAS and SARA MONDRAGON. My marriage index shows JOSE TRINIDAD MESTAS and SARAH MONDRAGON married 9 Nov 1896.

Their first born Desiderio Mestas of Rio Chiquito Born 20 Mar 1898, Bapt 26 Mar 1898. Hijo de Trinidad Mestas Y Cesaria Mondragon. Padrinos: Antonio Romero Y Sara Romo. (Off:Henry C.Pouget)

The 1880 Census of El Rancho Shows several MESTAS in one page and one of those listed is TRINIDAD MESTAS with his Parents Jose Rafael Mestas And Margara; he is entered as 5 years old.

The 1900 Census show TRINIDAD age 24, SARA age 20 and Deciderio age 1.

The 1910 Census of Talpa Precinct 19. Lists TRINIDAD age 33
Sara Age 27 and their Children as Follows:
Desiderio Son age 13
Juliana Daughter age 11
Climaca Daughter age 9
Esquipula Son age 7
Hipolito Son age 5
Ismael Son age 3
Alfonso Son age 1-4/12

I did not locate them in the 1920 Census.
I think that the other MESTAS listed in the same Census pages with TRINIDAD are his Uncles, Brothers etc.

The book"San Lorenzo de Picuris Baptisms 1750-1867." Transcribed By: Betty Pacheco from LDS Microfilm Reel # 016868, page 699 has the following baptism entry:
18 Feb 1866 Maria Faustina, 5 days [old], hn [hija natural] de Maria Ygnacia Mestas. Grandparents not listed. Padrinos: Antonio de Jesus Mes and Maria Manuela Romero. I do not know if this is the person you are seeking. I would advise that you look at the microfilm of the original entry to confirm it.
